Introduction to Ferndearle for Applicants

Ferndearle is a Therapeutic Community in Folkestone, Kent that provides an integrated package of therapeutic care, specialist education and therapy. Ferndearle provides a specialist service to children and young people from the ages of 4 to 18 who have a history of trauma stemming from early childhood experience. Some of these young people may also have additional difficulties such as Autism or learning difficulties. Ferndearle has a well-established staff team who have been trained in Ferndearle’s therapeutic theory and practice. Anyone joining Ferndearle will have the support of these experienced practitioners and will be part of a service that is founded and has evolved on evidenced based theory and practice.

There are a variety of roles at Ferndearle both in the school and the homes and all vacancies are advertised below. If you wish to join Ferndearle you will need to be committed to a high quality service and be prepared to embark on a career that is very challenging but extremely rewarding in terms of the role and of the training requirements.
